Love and live. Live and love. Indeed, the heart is a vital organ that gives us life.
Now, the American heart Association together with Campbell invites you to join Go Red For Women movement and celebrate "the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together and fight heart disease." The goal of which is to empower women with knowledge and tools so we can take positive action to reduce their risks and protect their health.

Thinking of Connector Replacement, Think eConnek
But now, as I browse through eConnek, which is dedicated in providing a cheaper alternative to electrical part replacement, I found out that we can order replacement of various electrical connectors used in telecommunications. Not only that, they also provide replacement for connector parts used in medical and industrial manufacturing as well.
So do you need metal or plastic connectors? Check eConnek. They provide high quality push-pull connectors (plastic and metal circular plugs and receptacles) but at a lower price. Also, their replacement to medical connector parts are designed to work with any brand-name manufacturers devices.
eConnek.com accepts online orders 24/7 and ships all domestic orders thru United Parcel Service (UPS) and international shipment via FedEx or UPS. All you have to do is create an account with them, login to the account, and place order in a shopping cart. When you order, eConnek gives you the liberty to choose between standard 3 business day and the basic 5 to 7 business day shipping options. They also guarantee safe and secure transaction by using industry standard SSL technology to protect your privacy and credit card information while you order. If you need help or follow up your order, you can also contact them by calling at (877) 568-0451 Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST and/or emailing them at info@eConnek.com. Also tracking information is provided upon order completion, so that you can check status of shipment thru UPS or FedEx website.

Junk mail and PayPal, Go EON
I, of course, flagged Paypal to save my soul but we know how long it takes before they get back to you. But agitated, panic-stricken, worried, etc.. I also asked around and searched the net.
I had yet to hear a word from PayPal when I found this. You just cannot imagine how relieved I was and how pissed I was with all these spam mails. Anyway, I have installed ICONIX now so it's easier to know whether a PayPal email is legit or not.
As with the card enrolment (to PayPal), it seems that there was a minor error somewhere in the process. But that taken cared of, my EON was successfully registered and my initial transfer went smoothly (even faster than I expected). Thanks Unionbank for everything! BTW, to date, Unionbank is the only bank in PI that makes withdrawal possible with PayPal.
Also thanks to PayPal despite the fact that I only heard from them when it no longer mattered to me.

Looking for LA Plastic Surgeons?
I’m saying it now. I’ve always, ALWAYS been contented with what I have. Despite the flabs here and there. Despite the not too long nose. Despite having breasts almost the size of an anthill. But maybe it’s a matter of feeling good about oneself.
But, if you feel good improving parts of your body and in need for plastic surgery, check these Los Angeles Plastic Surgeons who may be able help you achieve what you want and help you look good.

Guilty!
How time flies! Although I still feel it’s Christmas because we still have our Christmas lights and my son still sings Christmas songs, reality is Christmas has passed and Valentine’s Day - another gift-giving occasion -is fast approaching.
But tell you what? Love was all I gave my husband on Christmas. Isn't that great? He didn't complain (and he is not the type who complains) but it felt awkward especially when he gave me an iTouch (though still in transit), while I gave him nothing - not even a book or a pen. Shame on me.

Thankful Thursday
This week, I am thankful...
...that my hub is getting enough rest. I couldn't say that when he was working in his previous employer (when even in his sleep, his project would haunt him).
...for Matt's creativity. He always bring pleasant surprises for us all.
...for the music. They are the perfect drug to take on a hectic day.
...for friends who keep in touch. And who share their lives.
...for the sleep I get even when I am working on night shift (Aha! Working while sleeping is not really a good idea but we are allowed to do that when there's no activity in the network).
...that I am able to open my lids this morning. It's good to be alive! And it's the best to come to a kid who jumps when he sees you, hugs and tells you "I love you."

ToonUp Now
From experience, few times when I was the presenter (and boy, it’s not an easy feat to be up there), I’d usually employ these to aid me in delivering a message to the audience or driving home my point. And most times that I’m down there as audience, I must admit that these attention-getter illustrations or animations keep me awake.
In short, pictures, images, animations or illustrations are essential in making a presentation interesting because they leave impression on the audience. And if you are the presenter or trainer and you are able to provide a great presentation, it could put you on a good spot with the boss. Extra pogi points. Bonus points, enough for a raise or a promotion. Important, yes.
Now, MaraStar Corporation, the leading provider of animated training and communication cartoons, presents Toon Up. ToonUp is, and I would like to quote from their site:
ToonUp®(t n p )n.
1. A 30-60 second animation designed to train and motivate employees by delivering an important message in a humorous way. 2. A breakthrough technology in training and employee communications that delivers animated training to employees via PowerPoint, email, intranet, or Learning Management System.
In short they are Animated Cartoon Videos meant to make a training material/presentation more interesting and effective. And MaraStar has created loads of these catchy animations of different themes and topics. So, do you need one for a communication skills training? Or a sales presentation perhaps?
Perk up your presentation and ToonUp now.

Connect with iConnectHere
Wouldn’t you love to call your loved ones anytime and anywhere around the globe? I do. I’m actually more of a caller than a texter (SMS fan), and good thing that I’m working for a telecoms company and get to enjoy free airtime. Lucky me. Otherwise, with my habit, a huge chunk of my salary would have gone straight to a telephone company’s coffer.
But anyway, for those who wanted to get unlimited calls to any destination at affordable rate, iConnectHere has launched its Unlimited Calling Plan for $29.99 per month. With this you can dial any number and have a blast catching up with your loved ones anytime. If you’re interested, you may call their Sign-Up Help Line at 1-877-717-7689. When you sign up, you’ll get a $30 bonus so there’s actually no need to worry of the 1st month bill.

Young Engineer
“Oh.” I was surprised. No, that is not a remote. I was almost tempted to say but held my tongue in check.
“What is this remote control for?” I playfully asked instead.
“Remote for [the] yo-yo.”
And I pulled all my reserved acting skills to keep a straight face.
Made out of sticking a cottonbud (arrow) on a hole of wrist toy (that makes sound by pressing the red triangle). He said the cottonbud is the antenna!
And this is my son's entry for this week's MakeIt FromScratch! Eugene Polley- step aside.

A Sign To Get Back To Prescription Glasses
I was once prescribed to use glasses and I had been using it for more than a year. But you know what they say about getting so used to it and ending up getting a higher grade glasses – so I decided to chuck and forget about it. Last year, I had complained about my eyes and went to an eye doctor – and expected he’d give me glasses but I was prescribed an eye drop only!
Last December, I was considering getting back to the eye doctor again because too much blogging had maybe finally kicked me in the eye- but I made excuses not to.
Now, I’m doing this post for Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com, which offers wide selection of high quality frames and lens. Isn’t this supposed to be a sign to set that appointment again?

Thankful Thursday
The Nipa thatch roof offered a weak resistance against the violent rain and small puddles of water were slowly forming on the floor. Nowhere else to go for cover except the wooden kama (bed), where she eventually hid the kids to protect them from the harsh weather.
And she scurried to finish her cooking in a detached dirty kitchen, connected but outside of the house. She braved the cruel storm to provide everyone something hot to put in their tummy. And she did more than that.
She may have thought I have forgotten that scene from the distant past but I have not. Maybe not ever.
And we are still far from being glimmering rich now, but through all the comfortable trapping we have, I will not forget everything she did for us. Through all the love. The sacrifices. The lessons. I'm so blessed to have her as my mother.
Of course, there are times we do not see eye to eye, but I love her. She’s our anchor. Our light. Our strength.
