Pacquiao Wins Against Dela Hoya

Woot! Woot! I'm so giddy with excitement!

Pacquiao once again has proven how formidable an opponent he is, by putting Dela Hoya on the defensive side and eventually winning his fight against him.

I just couldn't believe the strength and power of this man on the boxing arena. Congratulations to the greatest Filipino boxer of all time - Manny Pacman!

I'm Just Surprised

I had to write about this - no, not because I think it's uncool but because this totally caught me off guard. I am just sooo surprised- that is all. Despite being an avid viewer of Heroes, I didn't know George Takei, who plays Kaito Nakamura the billionaire "hero"-daddy of Hiro Nakamura (Masi Oka) in the TV series Heroes is not straight.

Please, please...I'm not out to ridicule him (and why should I?). I respect him as an actor - I think he's very effective in all the roles that he has played - be it on TV or the silverscreen.

I also do not want to say anything about homosexuality (nor I have the intention of going in that direction now) but I just wanted to say that I didn't know this bit about George Takei. I really had no clue. And this newsbit got me disoriented for a moment.

And let me quote a part of what George said:
For now, Brad and I are enjoying the delicious dilemma of deciding where, when, and how we will be married. Marriage equality took a long time, but, like fine wine, its bouquet is simply exquisite.
As a last note, I'd like to reiterate that everyone has the right to be respected and accepted for what they are. Let's celebrate love then.

aDress Your Heart

The heart has always been a symbol of love (since I came into my senses, anyway). Figuratively speaking, we love with our heart. In fact, the message “I heart you” is already widely accepted to mean I love you. Yes, we love with our heart. We feel through our heart.

Love and live. Live and love. Indeed, the heart is a vital organ that gives us life.

That's why it is very important to take care of our heart. IT IS important to guard ourselves of the #1 killer of American men and women (and Filipinos as well). It is important to take action in protecting and keeping our heart healthy.

Now, the American heart Association together with Campbell invites you to join Go Red For Women movement and celebrate "the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together and fight heart disease." The goal of which is to empower women with knowledge and tools so we can take positive action to reduce their risks and protect their health.

Let’s love our heart. Let’s learn to reduce the risk. Let’s fight heart disease. Join us in supporting American Heart Association's Go Red For Women movement .

Also, you can vote for the dress that Toni Braxton should wear to kickoff American Heart Month by visiting here. For every vote, Campbell donates $1 to Go Red For Women.

Plain Nonsense And A Late Greeting

After 300 plus boring nonsense posts. Uh-oh. Don't say I'm really boring hardworking. I know it already and I do not need to work hard on being boring.

So okay after 300plus posts, I feel obligated to write another boring post that will never make sense. Please bear with me. But this is for my husband, my only reader ? - to him who should be blamed why I'm addicted blogging now.

And though we both are in the Engineering field, I will not pretend I understand what he does - a little, yes. But it's just the tiniest bit.

So, this will not make sense but I feel this will have effect on our life -maybe not directly. This is coming from Rich Tehrani.

(So Pops, hope this goes to show that you'll always -okay, not really always, but I can make a place for you anytime on this blog. And this is either tooooo late or tooooo advance but Happy Birthday!)

Arnel Pineda: Journey

Arnel Pineda. To be honest, I have not heard of this guy (while he was still doing gigs in PI) - not until he joined Journey.

Okay, Steve Perry's fans, I'm not going to make any big statement about that. I still believe Steve Perry is Steve Perry.

But I'm just happy Arnel got the break. I hope he'll do his best to be just himself. Good luck, Arnel.

I.Wish.I.Could.Do.This (Updated)

Charice Pempengco. The microphone is obviously her best bud. And music undoubtedly looooves her. I just wish I could say the same to myself. :-)

And some fans have spoken, too - if the poll at Ellen Degeneres' site was something to get by. Took the poll myself and here's the tentative result.

Woooot! GO gurl!
