Easy Win By Pacquiao

Oh I know. I know others are already posting about this very same topic but being a big Pacquiao fan, I can't help but blog about the Pacman-Hatton that has just recently concluded (like a couple of minutes ago! hehe).

It all seemed unreal but at Round 2, Pacman cleverly and officially brought Hatton down! *big grin*

I was honestly surprised as I had high expectations of Hatton prior to the fight. But sadly, he didn't deliver the punches that I (and maybe Pacman) had expected. His lack of performance was really unexpected and that at the early part of the fight, somehow I already knew who'd win it.

But what a win! Congrats to Pacquiao and his team.

So so Love X-men Origins: Wolverine

On with my movie exploits (what a term! To be honest, I've seen only a few but with my busy sked the count is pretty surprising to me), I forgot to mention this before but I just have to blog that I've seen the leaked copy of X-men Origins: Wolverine earlier this month (okay, who didn't?).

Okay, I don't intend to make a spoiler post but lemme just say that I totally, totally love it that I would love to see it again on the Silverscreen. If you've not seen it, I believe it's better to see it on the big screen.

I wonder when it will hit the movie theaters here but I'll wait as I'm sure it will be worth the wait. As for other countries, I've read on Wiki the ff release dates:

United Kingdom:
April 29, 2009
Australia & New Zealand: April 30, 2009
United States & Canada: May 1, 2009

Echelon Conspiracy

I watched Echelon Conspiracy the other day (in the office) and all I can say is...

Shane West is soooo cute! Lolz.

Okay, okay that sounded stupid but I don't have much in my pocket to give for the film-if you get the drift. Although I think the beginning of the movie is a bit interesting, as the film rolled, I went "ah ok" all the while disappointment slowly crept in. Among other things, the car chase scenes in Moscow are pretty dragging and should have been cut. And then near the end, the scene where the main character Max (played by West) was talking with a computer is unbelievable, maybe even hilarious.

But other than that, I choose to not say anything. *wink* And really, Shane West is too cute. Hehe.

She's Gotta Sue Her Dr

Have you seen Gretchen Barretto lately?

I've seen her full-length interview on the Sunday show the Buzz and I was surprised with her transformation.

To be honest, I'm not too fond of her but I've always thought she's got one of the beautiful faces in Philippine showbiz - until now. Looking at her on TV, she looked like she's aged plus 10 years. I don't know what's wrong but she just doesn't look pretty at all. Something was done to her face. It maybe botox for her cheeks/cheekbones to get that "bump" but it doesn't look great - and that is an understatement. I wonder where shed had "it" made.

Oh btw, I like the pumps that she used. And that is all I liked.

Shopaholic - Not,! I Think

Despite being too busy these past few days, I was able to sneak a little time for myself to watch The Confession of a Shopaholic -in the office. *wink* Well actually I didn't initiate that - a colleague played it and so I watched. *hmmp, excuses!*

Anyway, it was a fun flick. Perfect for a day when you just want to relax -and the windmills in the head. The plot is not complicated -am sure had I watched it when I was in highschool, I would have appreciated it more. Not that I was a shopaholic in HS. But it's the plot, I'm talking about.

Anyway, although not totally, I can relate to the euphoria one gets when shopping. I understand the feeling of exhilaration going to the counter and paying and finally clutching the bag of goods in my hands. But I don't do that often.

Anyway, for fun I took this shopping test online and here's what it says about me (again I'm taking this just for fun, nothing more).

You Are a Discount Shopper

You love to get things as cheaply as possible. You live for sales.

It's partially because you like to save money, but it's also because you like the thrill of finding a fabulous deal.

Of all the types, you tend to shop frequently but rarely by. You keep an eye on prices.

Brand names are not that important to you. You know how to have style without collecting designer tags.

Pacquiao Wins Against Dela Hoya

Woot! Woot! I'm so giddy with excitement!

Pacquiao once again has proven how formidable an opponent he is, by putting Dela Hoya on the defensive side and eventually winning his fight against him.

I just couldn't believe the strength and power of this man on the boxing arena. Congratulations to the greatest Filipino boxer of all time - Manny Pacman!

Something About My Name

Took this fun test/game online about finding what's sexy in a name. *chuckle*

Actually, I'm autoposting this and without funfare, here's the result.

What's Sexy About Your Name

You are sexy because you are a challenge. You don't play hard to get... you are hard to get.

You aren't very focused on love or sex. For you, career goals come first.

So while you are successful and attractive, you hardly ever notice who's pursuing you.

You're wary about entering relationships... which just makes people want you more.

When you finally do decide to be with someone, you are deeply committed.

You work as hard on your relationship as you do anything else. Success is important to you.

It's one of those fun, fun tests online. My result sounds true but let's just say it's too generic to be believable. *smile*

Britney's Womanizer Vid

Have you seen it?

I have seen it last week - thanks to an officemate. :-)

So Mama Britney is definitely back with a super duper teasing video. Much leaner, I think she looks better on-screen now. I'm not much a fan though.

In the video, La Bambi Britney plays sexier roles of your dreams i.e an officegirl who lapdances her way to your heart, a waitress who can give "other services..." To be honest, I'm not really too impressed except that I believe she looks better there. BUT my male officemates thought she's sexier and hotter than ever!

My Heart Will Go On

This is Verb's theme song these days.

My heart will go on, despite the fact that Verb's PR plummeted to a big round value after Giiggle's PR update. *grin*

Life has to go on.

My blogging has to go on - with or without a PR! It doesn't really matter.

Having said all that, here's Charice Pempengco's rendition of Celine Dion's hit song My Heart Will Go On. Enjoy!

Recap 2

Because the world wide web really is too big, everyone can have their little space, nook and cranny in it.

So have you seen this place, specifically, this virtual space where Christian Women and Men can meet and chat? In case you ‘re in the mood for some good chats, check this room out.

My Stripper Song Is...

It's Closer from Nine Inch Nails, ladies and gentlemen.

I certainly don't feel like stripping to this song. But hey, that's what this fun game said. So, as my son would say, nothing personal (despite the fact that stripping is soooo personal)!

Your Stripper Song Is

Closer by Nine Inch Nails

"You let me violate you, you let me desecrate you

You let me penetrate you, you let me complicate you

Help me I broke apart my insides, help me I've got no

Soul to tell"

When you dance, it's a little scary - and a lot sexy.

Saturday 9: Would You Take Them Back?

1. Think of all your exes. Would you take any of them back? No, definitely not.

2. What was the first car you drove? What happened to it? It's a company van that my father used to drive when he was still working. I think it's already in a junkyard now.

3. What’s the longest amount of time you have driven a car non-stop? More than an hour, less than 3

4. Have you ever been stood up on a date? If yes, when? No.

5. What TV network do you watch the most? Cartoon Network (because I have a cute boss at home)

6. Pick out a song you like that has special meaning to you. Share with us what song is it, and what’s the meaning to you.

Because I miss my husband now.

7. Who was your first celebrity crush on? I can't remember the first...ah I remember now. It's Corey Haim (Prayer of the Rollerboys).

8. What is your favorite romantic comedy movie? My Bestfriend's Wedding, Notting Hill, 50 First Dates...and a lot more. I really couldn't decide.

9. It has been said, "First Loves Are Never Over." Is this true for you? No, not at all.

I'm 25 Years Old, Thank You

I'm 25. Whoa! Oh well, this is what it says down here. But really, I just turned 31 yesterday.

You Act Like You Are 25 Years Old

You are a twenty-something at heart. You feel like an adult, and you're optimistic about life.

You feel excited about what's to come... love, work, and new experiences.

You're still figuring out your place in the world and how you want your life to shape up.

The world is full of possibilities, and you can't wait to explore many of them.

Seen from Foster Me Up.

A Special Day

31 years ago, Ringo releases "Drowning in the Sea of Love"

31 years ago, my mother was in a delivery room huffing and puffing to bring a daughter into this world.

31 years ago, I was born.

Smile

When your kid grows up with their grandparents, you just have to expect that they know how to sing this. :-)

Maybe not all. But at least they know some of the lines.

I woke up this morning with my son singing lines from Nat King Cole's famular song.

Smile!

Starting The Morning With...

If you think I'm over Charice now, you have another thought coming. I'm definitely not over Charice yet. No, no, no, no, no! *with the tune of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going* Remember that song she sang months back? :-) (It's not really a favorite song but I believe Charice sang it very well)

Anyway, here's one of my favorite songs from Andrea Bocelli -and yes, Charice sang it, too.

Wake Up!

I haven't even slept yet.

It's 4AM already. I'm in the office working blogging. I have restrained myself from blogging at home; besides, the tot won't permit that to happen. All I have is 5 minutes -after that is a busted PC, trust the tot. But I'm not complaining -I'm loving the stage Matt is in now. And it's so fun to be with a someone who is still discovering things for the first time.

G'morning to all!
