Saturday 9: The First Apartment

Saturday 9: The First Apartment

1. Where had you moved from?

My parents house. I was fresh out of College then.

2. Describe your first apartment.

It's a two-story wooden-concrete structure with a little veranda. I was living with 3 other girls. I remember that there's a little space at the back (where we do our laundry) where you can see the sunrise.

3. How old were you when you had your apartment?

I was 21. I celebrated my 22nd birthday there. It the most fun birthday party I ever had!

4. Did you have roommates? If yes, tell us more.

I did. The other one is my close friend and classmate in college. The two other girls are reviewees, too. Sadly, among the 4 of us, 1 flunked the Board Exam. I haven't heard anything of her eversince.

5. What was your place of employment then?

None.

6. How were you finances at the time?

I was dependent of my parent the whole time I was reviewing for the Board. What a shame! BUT I really had no time to take a part-time job because I was reviewing full-time and the schedule was pretty hectic.

7. Tell us about a lover who spent a night there.

None. I. swear. I was unattached then :-)

8. Tell us about a band you listen to then. (You can cheat. Look it up.)
I honestly couldn't remember. Ahh yes, Matchbox 20 and Nirvana.

9. How long did you live there and why did you move from there?
I lived there for about 6months or so - I would have stayed longer but I had to go home after taking the Board Exam. It's part of the deal I had with my parents. :-) I went back to this city a couple of months later -but I no longer stayed in that apartment.

Guilty As Charged

I feel so guilty with my thoughts now. With our city recently declared to be in the state of calamity, I feel so guilty reading about diamonds and much more for salivating over these jewelry pieces. But how can I not?

I’m really sorry I can’t help it. So okay, I’ll show you few items I saw perusing few moments ago.

Here is a cute pair of earrings with diamonds

and its matching necklace pendant.

Sinful, I believe. *hiding under the bed* But aren't they cute? They'd be perfect for me (especially that I so love wearing flipflops). Oh dear, oh dear, I'm so selfish.

But to justify *smiles*, I also learned something today. I didn’t know that the word diamond comes from the Greek word "Adamas" which means unconquerable. And I was able to find a Ring Size Chart from Gemz N Gold which could come in handy anytime.

Oh by the way, in case you want to buy some jewelry pieces for your loved ones this Valentine's Day, you could find a lovely collection --all of which are made in USA -- at Gemz N Gold. That being said, you can be assured of the quality of these jewelry pieces – it’s actually a lifetime quality guarantee from them.

Just Updating

I am so NOT busy.

I have plenty of time to spare to update my blogs...if I want to... but I'm so feeling LAZY.

Must be weather. It's dreary at my end. Or must be the flood (I thought I won't be able to get back home yesterday. It rained nonstop the whole day yesterday and the city's flooded like you couldn't imagine -it's actually in the news!). Yup, that must be it, the flood must have erased everything I wanted to write. (?!)

So maybe next time then. Or maybe in the coming days I have better things to blog about. :-)
