Why I'm Not Switching Credit Cards

I’ve been in a barrage of telemarketers lately which makes me think that the marketing world is ganging up to annoy me. They are mostly representative of credit card companies offering the best credit card deals. Because I am so diplomatic, I never tell them to get lost straight out no matter how much I wanted to. Almost always, I give them time, no matter how short, to deliver their generic marketing spiels.

But reality is I never wanted to switch cards or add more cards to my name. One is enough and the thing is, I am contented with the services of my card company. Apart from the fact that I am assured their system is secured and protected, their online banking service is superb. And that’s means a world to me.

Thinking of Connector Replacement, Think eConnek

Do you go to surplus shops to look for connector replacement? We – me and my teammates- actually do this when we run out of supply of telco equipment connectors (i.e BNC, TQ – I’m sorry I’m speaking jargon) which come with the equipment upon ordering from the manufacturer. But there are times when we run out of these, thus the surplus shop trips.

But now, as I browse through eConnek, which is dedicated in providing a cheaper alternative to electrical part replacement, I found out that we can order replacement of various electrical connectors used in telecommunications. Not only that, they also provide replacement for connector parts used in medical and industrial manufacturing as well.

So do you need metal or plastic connectors? Check eConnek. They provide high quality push-pull connectors (plastic and metal circular plugs and receptacles) but at a lower price. Also, their replacement to medical connector parts are designed to work with any brand-name manufacturers devices.

eConnek.com accepts online orders 24/7 and ships all domestic orders thru United Parcel Service (UPS) and international shipment via FedEx or UPS. All you have to do is create an account with them, login to the account, and place order in a shopping cart. When you order, eConnek gives you the liberty to choose between standard 3 business day and the basic 5 to 7 business day shipping options. They also guarantee safe and secure transaction by using industry standard SSL technology to protect your privacy and credit card information while you order. If you need help or follow up your order, you can also contact them by calling at (877) 568-0451 Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST and/or emailing them at info@eConnek.com. Also tracking information is provided upon order completion, so that you can check status of shipment thru UPS or FedEx website.

But, if you feel good improving parts of your body and in need for plastic surgery, check these Los Angeles Plastic Surgeons who may be able help you achieve what you want and help you look good.

Guilty!

How time flies! Although I still feel it’s Christmas because we still have our Christmas lights and my son still sings Christmas songs, reality is Christmas has passed and Valentine’s Day - another gift-giving occasion -is fast approaching.

But tell you what? Love was all I gave my husband on Christmas. Isn't that great? He didn't complain (and he is not the type who complains) but it felt awkward especially when he gave me an iTouch (though still in transit), while I gave him nothing - not even a book or a pen. Shame on me.

But now, as I browse through online shopping coupons from CouponChief, especially the Nike coupons and Adidas coupons, I am reminded of that 'love thing" and I am guilty - and I know I have to do something about this Valentine's.

Go Loco for El Pollo Loco

ToonUp Now

Life in the corporate world is peppered – not sparingly- with meetings, trainings, brainstorming processes, and company events that involve presentations or slide-shows. And pictures, images, animations or illustrations play a great role in conveying the message of these presentations to the audience. Let’s face it, sometimes, these are the only things we take notice of - or we remember after a meeting or training has wrapped up.

From experience, few times when I was the presenter (and boy, it’s not an easy feat to be up there), I’d usually employ these to aid me in delivering a message to the audience or driving home my point. And most times that I’m down there as audience, I must admit that these attention-getter illustrations or animations keep me awake.

In short, pictures, images, animations or illustrations are essential in making a presentation interesting because they leave impression on the audience. And if you are the presenter or trainer and you are able to provide a great presentation, it could put you on a good spot with the boss. Extra pogi points. Bonus points, enough for a raise or a promotion. Important, yes.

Now, MaraStar Corporation, the leading provider of animated training and communication cartoons, presents Toon Up. ToonUp is, and I would like to quote from their site:

ToonUp®(t n p )n.
1. A 30-60 second animation designed to train and motivate employees by delivering an important message in a humorous way. 2. A breakthrough technology in training and employee communications that delivers animated training to employees via PowerPoint, email, intranet, or Learning Management System.

In short they are Animated Cartoon Videos meant to make a training material/presentation more interesting and effective. And MaraStar has created loads of these catchy animations of different themes and topics. So, do you need one for a communication skills training? Or a sales presentation perhaps?

Perk up your presentation and ToonUp now.

Connect with iConnectHere

Wouldn’t you love to call your loved ones anytime and anywhere around the globe? I do. I’m actually more of a caller than a texter (SMS fan), and good thing that I’m working for a telecoms company and get to enjoy free airtime. Lucky me. Otherwise, with my habit, a huge chunk of my salary would have gone straight to a telephone company’s coffer.

But anyway, for those who wanted to get unlimited calls to any destination at affordable rate, iConnectHere has launched its Unlimited Calling Plan for $29.99 per month. With this you can dial any number and have a blast catching up with your loved ones anytime. If you’re interested, you may call their Sign-Up Help Line at 1-877-717-7689. When you sign up, you’ll get a $30 bonus so there’s actually no need to worry of the 1st month bill.

A Sign To Get Back To Prescription Glasses

I was once prescribed to use glasses and I had been using it for more than a year. But you know what they say about getting so used to it and ending up getting a higher grade glasses – so I decided to chuck and forget about it. Last year, I had complained about my eyes and went to an eye doctor – and expected he’d give me glasses but I was prescribed an eye drop only!

Last December, I was considering getting back to the eye doctor again because too much blogging had maybe finally kicked me in the eye- but I made excuses not to.

Now, I’m doing this post for Great Discovery: www.ZenniOptical.com, which offers wide selection of high quality frames and lens. Isn’t this supposed to be a sign to set that appointment again?

Introducing EarthFrisk's Meta – Social Search Engine

Good news! EarthFrisk.org is introducing an alternative search engine and page ranking system by creating the first Meta – Social Search Engine.

So what’s new with this Search Engine? Apart from providing results –integrated or separate - from Yahoo, MSN, Google and other search engines, EarthFrisk.org has created an improved engine that limits spam down at minimum.

What's interesting, to me, is with this engine, EarthFrisk.org is paving the way to a ranking based on what the community thinks. Yes, it is introducing a new CV rating using a color value (CV) that is dependent on “real responses and comments by your peer.” This means that no one – definitely, not any company, can lower the rating of websites, blogs and people at will. Now I wonder what the Big G will say to that.

What Happened?

I logged in to my PPP account this morning and look what greeted me at this early hour.

Zeroes! Or is it is spelled as zeros? Whatever happened to PPP system this morning? I'm not so concerned with the Have Been Paid but I couldn't say that about the Will Be Paid. E-te-thank you nlang ba 'to? Knowing me, you can just imagine the chill that crept into my veins. I panicked and automatically clicked My Posts.

Boy, I'm just relieved everything's still there. I can deal with the incorrect stats later but I cannot imagine if everything and all of my unpaid posts disappeared through thin air, too.

Interesting Video

I was searching for funny videos this afternoon and found some over at Mohamad Zein's Channel. It works pretty much like Youtube – with cool categories, too. You can also download, submit or upload a video.

And here’s one video that I love.

Why Women Rule The World!

And here’s something that I wanted to show my son – not now though. Maybe few years from now.

Easy Graphical Multiplication Trick

The last one can be found under the Best of Producer Rewards 2007.

Traveling, Daydreaming, Booking

Wouldn’t you love to travel? I do. Actually, it’s my dream to be able to backpack and travel around the globe. That is, if time and budget permit.

I would love to visit Vietnam and explore Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Then, there's the UK. And every time I watch episodes of Prison Break3, I am reminded of Panama and I couldn’t help but long for a chance to watch the sunsets of Panama. And then I am, I must confess, fascinated – no, make that obsessed - with the Taj Mahal (you just don’t know how much! but that's another story).

Dream, dream, dream.

I really could daydream now and I just couldn’t help it when I checked Hotel Reservations and found great vacation packages.
You can book for flights, hotels, cars and even vacation rentals to a destination of your choice.

Online Wonders

I really marvel at what one can do online. With just a tap on the keyboard, one can shop, play, study, see the world, and get in touch with families living miles away –and all without moving an inch (discounting body movements while seated). So convenient, it’s really amazing.

I have even enrolled to a bank few days ago, without the hassles of actually getting to the bank and queuing. Online, I did all that.

And today, I learned that one could get a loan just as easily. Whether it is a personal loan, pay day loan or car loan, I just cannot believe it’s so easy to apply for any of that these days.

Garage Talks

Is the concrete of your garage floor already cracked? Stained with oil? Does it need some face lift? How does your garage floor look like?

Does it look like any of these garage floors? Yes? No? Yes? No?

But how do you like to have a garage that looks like this? Like it? Don't like it? Me, let's just say I am not too fond of this kind of pattern. It makes me feel dizzy. :D

How about this one? Too immaculate, huh? To me, it looks more like a kitchen than a garage. I would really be too scared to use it as a garage and stain the floor with earth and oil.

Now, take look at this. Don't you just think it's hot? Yes? No? Yes? Let me just say this: that's a hot car on a hot floor.

Yes, definitely a hot car and a hot floor, too.

By the way, ours doesn't look like any of these at all. Ours is just very ordinary and very simple; with white pebbles set on concrete floor, ours has the washed-out look. But in my dreams, it could look like this last one here. :D
