WFM interviews me

What Works for Mom's Blog had this little blog go-around. Below are the questions she asked me and my answers to them.

Leave me a comment saying “Interview me.” I will respond by emailing you five questions. I get to pick the questions. If you don’t have a valid email address on your blog, please provide one. You will update your blog with a post containing your answers to the questions. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions.

1) Which do you like dislike more: shopping for new jeans or going to the dentist?

A: I do not really dislike going to a dentist - I honestly like them more than the rest of medical practicing peeps (no offense meant). But a few months ago, when I went to one and had amalgamation done on me, it made me a little teary-eyed.

Now who hates shopping? (I only do when I'm short of cash!)

2) What is one thing you'd like to accomplish by Friday?

A: At work, to start cracking some macro again (which is already long overdue). At home, housework, housework and more housework.

3) What's the worst or best advice you were ever given?

A: The Best (and worst) Corporate Advice - That corporate advice #1 says: The boss is always right. That advice #2 (and after) says: If I should have other concerns/complaints, I should always refer to rule#1.

(This really shouldn't be taken seriously. In fact this is supposedly our standing joke in the office. But this one ironically ceases to be funny at worst times - times when you know and experienced the truth in it. Best because it's true; and worst because it definitely is true! It's a worst truth. If taken seriously, that is.)

4) How full is your glass?

A: Brimming (with lemon-chamomile tea!). And I'm thinking of one lovely cycle, you pour out love and love be poured unto you.

5) Where (other than home) would your ruby slippers take you?

A: To this wondrous place where when I pop open my sleep-ridden lids in the morning, the first thing I see is both my BH and my kid's expectant faces (for breakfast :-D). A place where I could feel the warmth of them sleeping beside me and hear the melody of their snores before I drift off to ZZZland at night.

You're pretty brave. I would rather do almost anything else than go to the dentist!

Hi Ana, kid and I are both away from hub. He's working away from home. But someday soon I hope we'll live in the same roof. Soon, soon..

@ Kailani, I dunno about being brave. The thing is when you go to a dentist, all you have to do is open your mouth. Can't say about an OB trip though. Heheh.

I love tea too!

Yes, love begets love. ^_^

I'm Filipino-Canadian, Zam. :) And oh, since I'm enjoying your posts, I hope it's not too presumptuous if I add you to my links too.

Thanks! :D

Zam, I tried to get your email addy to send the questions. I don't see it on your blog. I think it would be fun to interview each other. If you are still up to it, my addy is adrian090501@yahoo.com.

Hi again, Zam!

Re: interview, it's ok... I'm not good with interviews or tag thingies, I can't even write a decent "about me." ;D

Btw, for some reason, I can't view your new post on IE; it gets wonky and hangs. Did you compose it on Firefox? I'll have to go back to it then. :)

I hope you're enjoying your weekend!

No biggie about linking back, btw; I have a transparent sitemeter, but I don't think I'll be a blogstar in this lifetime (not that I have plans in any lifetime), he-he. :D

Hi G, thanks for the heads-up. I use Firefox all the time and was not aware that it won't display or that it looks funny on IE. I know now. i saw it. And I guess I fixed it na. TY.
