I was on the phone with my hub and somewhere along our conversation, I drifted off to my s-h-a-l-l-o-w (gasp!) self.

Me, teasing and testing: What are you getting me this Christmas?

Hub: Mmmmm, nothing.

Me, feigning surprise and sulking: Really. Not anything? Not even something cheap?

Hub: A kiss.

Ugh! But really, my s-h-a-l-l-o-w self knows, (* shifting from being shallow to mushy*) with or without a gift, my w-a-c-k-o half loves me and Matt dearly. And that's all that matters. (?) ;D
